Course Content

Given the rapid digital transformation in today’s organizations, the need for data-driven decision-making in HR has become essential.

The course will focus on understanding the application of data analytics to examine common HR challenges.

Your class activities will include presentations from the professor, case studies, workshops and group discussions.

Each session will develop a specific aspect of people analytics applied to talent acquisition, including:

Course Instructor

Dr Sébastien Fernandez

PhD in Differential Psychology, University of Geneva

Dr Fernandez's motivation is to help leaders of tomorrow to take into account the psychological forces that drive high performance in organizational settings and to make decisions (such as talent decisions) with the help of evidence-based and innovative approaches coming from the field of organizational psychology.

After his PhD, he worked in the Swiss Army for five years, where he was in charge of the assessment of the candidates for officer positions.

He now teaches courses in human behavior and performance, talent assessment, psychology, and interpersonal relations.

He has received twice the “Young researcher award” in 2008 and 2010 at the Journées Internationales de Psychologie Différentielle (International Congres of Differential Psychology)

His areas of expertise include: Personnel selection, Psychometric testing, Personality, Customer-oriented behaviors, Tipping behavior...

Who Should Attend?

This course is particularly designed for you if you are a professional with minimum 2-3 years of professional experience working in the field of Human Resources or willing to enter this field.

Minimum Qualification Required to Enroll

Bachelor's degree & 2 years of professional experience in a hospitality management position
A good understanding of Human Resources and Business Management fundamentals based on prior work experience and/or studies
